A correct exposure is not always that easy. If you have to deal with aggressive lightning, decent exposures can be a pain in the backside. Well, today it was the histogram that helped me to stay in the boundaries of acceptable exposure. Never before I used the histogram to correct my exposures, instead I just used the review LCD. I learned a valuable lesson today and now I arguing with myself why I didn’t do this before. When I get “the hang of it”, I will combine this technique with using the fill-flash.
Here some result from today. I hope you like them.

The last two landscapes are very nice........of course the land doesn't move and you can choose comp and exposure more easily.
Now if we could only get the birds to fly into the light and towards us, we would have it made!!!
Any idea what the bird in the first photo is eating? Looks like part of a fish?
Regards,
-joel

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Joel.
If my English don't let me down than I have to say the bird is eating the gill and bowels of a fish.

I was very exited when I captured number 8 and come up with a reasonable exposure in one shot.
