these aren't the best images in the world, but i was fun to see these little guys. i first visited the area in march while there was snow on the ground, and mama was setting.

it is quite a distance into a fenced in field. even with my 100-400L and 1.4 converter, this was about the best i could get.

very little processing, small crop.......

Hey you caught the action, you can't do much more than that. It must ahve been a real rush to follow that one into the nest.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

thanks, harry. it was pretty neat, though a lot of luck. i had been focused in on the babies when all of a sudden thet both stood up and got really animated. about that time mom conveniently flew into the photo....

i am happy with them, and since it's a 50 mile drive from my place, i don't get there too often.
