50 Stunting Photo's (the motorcycle that is)

There were some 50 stunts put on by Monster at the Extreme Motorsports Expo today so I took some pictures..

There was nealy zero sun out, but this was good practice anyway.

    The biggest improvement you can make, if you ever get to do this again, would be to dial in some positive EV Compensation. You exposed the sky well, but the riders are under exposed by a stop or so. Adding +1 EV of compensation would have brightened the riders quite a bit. It would also have brightened the already bright sky ne_nau.gif Another method is to shoot in RAW and blend 2 conversions during post. One converted for the highlights and one exposed for the shadows.

    Or, you can just mess with them in PhotoShop. If you aren't printing large, any noise or artifacts you induce won't be very noticeable. Your pics should look more like this when done.

    Cool stunts, excues my Naivete' but he looks like a big guy for such a little bike ne_nau.gif Nice captures on the moments .
