I'm planning to buy a 580ex soon and have found the best price at Beach Camera. What's to say about Beach? Reliable? No hassles returns/exchanges? Efficient staff?

    I have purchased a couple of things from them. They have always delivered. The only hassle I have experienced is that they ship via FedEx and require signature at delivery and only the signature of the addressee will do. So, if you have it delivered to your home and you aren't there ...

    I'm lucky in that the FedEx office isn't that far from where I live. I just wait until the truck returns to the office and pick it up there.

    I just bought a Tamron 28-200 lens from them and it was a problem free purchase. But my only interaction was with the webpage. I had no need to talk to anyone. I've bought from Butterflyphoto before so I was expecting the "upsale" call, but it never came, and I am quite happy with the lens. Their prices are hard to beat.
