San Isidro Fiesta

San Isidro is the patron saint of Madrid. Among his miracles, he was said to have fallen asleep while doing his chores in the fields and angels came to do his work for him. He has been a role model for local municipal civil servants ever since. :wink

Here are some pics I shot last week at the annual fiesta in his honor. It is a fun one, full of costumes and color.

    I love everything about the last one -- the color, composition, especially the man in the background.
