My man, Ruger :D I know, the subject is centered, and it's too green. Actually, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how to boost up the yellow a notch? I have PSP 7.0.

Ruger is formally known as Bayou Bay's Rimfire Ruger CDX RE NAP NJP WC CGC
And he's very proud of all those titles (and so am I, because I train and own and show him)! :D

Great looking Lab! Mabe I'll get around to taking some photos of our lab Kuma and posting them.

Here's another color correction using the highly touted LAB method in photoshop.

    Hope this helps!

Nice dog, If you want to boost your yellow, You can make a duplicate layer, and make a loose selection around your dog, go into adjust: he and saturaration, click where it says master and change it to Yellow and move th slider a bit to the right.

another method , that makes golds richer, is when you make your duplicate layer, go to brightness and contrast and move levers up, till everything is light almost blown out. the go to filter and on the same layer go to gaussian blur, move it till things ar e a bit fuzzy and soft.( at this point I always use my eraser tool and erase around the eyes and nose or anything i want sharp, sharp. then go to MODE ( blending modes) in your layer pallette, and click on soft light. You can adjust the opacity of this layer to your likeing.

Not a bad shot. The comp is fine. The subject is not actually centered (the head is). The back of the dog starts in the upper left hand corner and the body runs to the center.

This is quite efffective comp wise. In western cultures when we look at a page our eyes always start with the upper left hand corner of a page. This just happens to be where your subject starts.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
