With this photo, the crop doesnt really make a difference in changing the mood of the photo or anything, so it just depends on how you want to frame the photo. I personally like the vertical photograph to show the entire group without cutting legs off. ;) Nice expressions too.

I definitely prefer the entire shot. Maybe it's because of my affinity for wide angle shots (the wider the better!). :):

Hey Antonio ... I lean towards the cropped photo. The faces say more than the feet in this photo .. so I say go with the first pix ... in fact I say crop more to just below the hands (by the way ... square off the bridge too it seems a bit tilted).

I guess it depends on what you are going for. If you want urban context, then I would vote for the vertical crop. If it's just the kids, then I would agree with Gary and would crop even more. I think it can work either way.

    Cheers,

    Hello Gary
As a matter of fact I shot the picture with the 16~35 at 35 mm.
My 24~70 is beeing repaired ... in Portugal.
Tes, the bridge is a little tilted. But I do not know how to fix it while not changing the proportions of the boys.
Did you notice the red sweater is from a portuguese football team ?
    Regards.

More important than the crop is to get the horizon straight!
