So, I got lucky and had a whole day to finally cull through my photos (and deciding that I had to buy a new hard drive!)

The gallery is here, but I thought I'd post a few here. Comments and critique welcome. Click on pics for EXIF.

The last one of Wall Street is stunning, as is the other version that you placed up for critique and with Marc the last evening. When Diana and I walked that pathway the day you all got there, it was early evening and the light was crap.

Yeah, it's a great area to shoot in the normally flat midday sun.

    Thanks for the comment.

(I'm avoiding my night shot from our time on the road (literally!), it's a mess, not sure if I can clean it up.)

I couldn't. Shoulda kept it set for noise reduction. Not that it woulda helped a lot. 55 minute exposures, even on a Canon sensor, are asking for trouble.

The Wall Street shot is stunning!

I didn't get a chance to tell you on the trip how much I enjoy your avatar. It always makes me smile!

Awesome, David! The sky sure cooperated while you were there. These shots are so sharp, they are actually painfully beautiful to look at!!! Amazing! thumb.gifthumb.gifthumb.gif

    David,

Awesome! I really like your stuff. Glad to hear you got chance to go through your stuff. I'm doing the same today. As far as the last photo goes, I like it, but I think the other one with the sun star is better.
