Anyone who's ever been to a Lowepro sales conference should know this guy. Anyone who went to a Nikon School of Photography in the 80's/90's might know this guy. If you don't know this guy, you *should* know this guy.

He changed my life.

Enjoy the rest. If anyone wants me to tell the Bert story, I will, though I'll have to be careful to make it as true to the way that Larry tells it, so it might take me a day or two to get it together.

... by the way, that's me doing the Slingshot 200 demonstration. Paul (from Daymen Photo) told me that it was the best on-the-spot demo he's ever seen from an audience member (despite the audiences being made up of camera salespeople)

I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.
