Wow, very nice pictures, every one of them! I especially like the last one with the lens baby effect - this little gem has great potential for all kinds of pictures, which you demonstrated very well!

These are all fantastic but the Lens Baby photo is my favorite. Actually, quite excellent. It conveys a unique spirit and mystery that was the Anasazi, the people that hung out in those dwellings. Anasazi being the ancestors to the Pueblo Indians and having a Navajo translation meaning "The Ancient Ones".

On your other set of pics I believe I saw a shot of one of the Anasazi "guard towers". Or, as they would be referred to in a Monty Python bit, the "Watch Out!!!" towers. :D Anyhoo. Question being. Who were their enemies? It's all some very interesting history if you're so inclined. I'm sure the web has a bunch of stuff.

BTW: I love my Lens Baby. Most people look at my Baby snaps and make funny faces trying to pretend they like the photos. rolleyes1.gif

Mesa Verde is on my list of places to go this summer. I have some film snaps that are a "little old" and want to go back with a digital. Probably in August when it's cooler. rolleyes1.gif

    Great photos!!!

Nice work Dani and it's one of those locations I've dreamed of seeing since becoming aware of early Westerns. Great subject for IR. Are you touring in the TT?
