    Good find Dani!

Since this is free and really useful, I'm sticking it over in gear so more people see it. Yeah?

At first I thought they were joking!!! I am forever misplacing the one lens hood I need. Guess I should download these just in case! I could print a bunch up and keep them handy in the trunk of my car....and if my oil gets low, I could use them as a funnel! rolleyes1.gif

Pretty cool, thanks for the link. But this paper hood isn't fitting on my 17-40.headscratch.gif

The PDF files are created for A4 paper, so if you are printing on 8.5x11 check whether the image is being resized. (For Acrobat reader confirm that Page Scaling=none is selected in the print options).

ROFL! Somehow on my 600mm f4, I doubt this scenario would cut it. rolleyes1.gif

That being said, it would be very cool to have a travel hood for my blasted 24-70 f/2.8 glass since the one that comes with is a beast and quite cumbersome to travel with at times. Thanks for the link thumb.gif

So does anybody have photos of their paper lens hoods on their lens(es)? How is the best way to attach them? I'm having a bit of difficulty with a few of mine. Photos, anyone?

Elastic bands should work just fine to keep it on.

rolleyes1.gifLong live the metric system! And the German
invention of the ratio perserving paper. It's the only
paper in the world that preserves its aspect ratio when
folded in half. Plus my german printer from Taiwan loves it!
