Napa Valley Vacation

Most of these shots I think go here, so what the hey...I hope I'm not breaking any rules and posting too many or anything. Just wanted to share my vacation.
This is looking out the airplane window (pretty sad that I'm 26 and this is my first time flying, I've always had to drive in all my travels)
I have some friends that know some people and we stayed with them. I didn't know the people were "blinging" tho. They had their house for sale for 4.2 mill because they bought 40 acres on top of the mountain where they plan on having a resort, winery, and apparently the guy won Michael Jacksons pair of giraffe's off of ebay. *shrug* (I wasn't going to ask questions)
This is the backyard. Beautiful landscaping, everything was cement, outdoor bar, hot tub, heated pool, waterfalls, and we stayed in our own private guest house for the week.
A view from the mountain top, where the house will be next year..
Overlooking the valley and the vineyards...
And of course, when in Napa you go wine tasting...we were fortunate enough to be escorted around by our friend and his two week old Bentley...
The real reason we went out there was for a wine release party. Kind of like a cd release party, only you buy cases of wine instead of cds. ;D We got to drink the whole day for free though. This is after 6 hours of chugging wine out of the barrel...
The camera went away after that, and I forgot what happened the rest of the evening, but apparently I was running around with two open bottles of wine, holding them over my head and yelling "rock star" - I passed out by 11pm.
All in all, a great vacation!
more vaca pics and landscapes...

it was my first attempt at doing any kind of event photography, I just tried to keep somewhat of a PJ style to it. Comments welcome.

You did a great job of storytelling! I was after the last shot! Sounds like you had pretty posh living there! Glad you had a great time....that's what vacations are for.
