I had some time to recognize Memorial Day.

Thanks for the thoughts and photos. I always kinda observe Memorial Day in some quite thought. I wonder if the schools still teach students what this day means?

The sacrifices made are much larger than ones self interest or any one political point of view.

nice photo, but scary. Looks like a cemetery I'm familiar with in SW Wisconsin.

    Arroyoshark,

    Rock Falls, Illinois.

Our Boy Scout Troop helps with the flag posting, ceremonies and flag retirement, along with other local veterans.

One of the soldiers our BS Troop sent care packages to, while he was in Iraq, came to the ceremony. It was awfully good to see that he was physically OK, and hopefully back for good.

    Thanks,
