Photographing the Night Sky

Greetings,

I ran across an article in Night & Sky (a beginning Astronomy magazine
published by Sky & Telescope) that talks about shooting the night sky.
The article is in the November/December issue.

It's a great article that covers the basics. From a tripod to cable release
to how to.

There's very little telescope work included. Making this a wonderful primer.

For those interested, there is also an article on buying your first telescope.

Enjoy,
Ian

Thanks, Ian. Will try to find the magazine. (My new grandson was named Ian, by my son Jon)

When I was growing up, there was a certain advantage of having the name. I
would know when I heard "Ian" who ever was calling was calling me. Now, I'm
    never sure :D

RM, the link is a good one too.
