Hi - I just bought this lens used without the ring, and am discovering I can't find it anywhere. I'd like to buy one or find a dealer/outlet that sells them.

Best e-gards,
Steve Cherry

I feel like I've run across some non-Canon branded collars, but I wasn't able to find them easily via google. Hmmm.

Have you tried calling up Canon to see what a branded replacement would cost?

Kirk Enterprises and Really Right Stuff both sell replacement lens collars.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks guys - I had a look at both Kirk and RRS and Kirk has collars, but I can't find for this particular lens. I am waiting for a response from Canon, so will see how that goes!

    Solved
Well - lots of research later, I did get the part from Canon. I was worried because they had a hard time finding it as well.

In case anyone else runs into this, it can be had from Canon for $116 Kirk and RSS don't make a collar for this lens but I enjoyed looking at all of their neat-o toys.

    Best,
