I'm always amazed at the size fish birds can swallow..... this is no exception. After playing around with his catch for about 10 minutes, like a kitten, he finished the meal.

Nice series of shots William. Im always amazed at what I see these birds eat (and try to eat). I mentined before I've got a shot of an GBH attacking a small black tip shark on the end of a fisherman's line. I couldn't believe it. I'd post the pic..but it's on one of many (36) rolls of film...I'm still working on developing. eek7.gif :uhoh rolleyes1.gif

That first one is a real "keeper" - pun intended! Wonderful series as usual.

Thanks Dave, I don't know why, but it isn't unusual here in Los Angeles. Of course it isn't unusual to see anything perched in a tree here.

Don't wear out that eagle suit, you're going to need it for the next fish story. Anybody in that cart that I know?

Good series William. The birds are amazing when they swallow their catches. Its a good thing that birds don't have a gag reflex.
