Here's a few more from my Teignmouth break.

These poppies were on the edge of a railway track, hence the white stones in the background

My first decent horse pic. I'm not a really horsey person, comes of having sustained a rather nasty injury falling head first off one when it took it into its head to gallop, without me saying it could!!!

Teignmouth beach with it "groynes" (yes that's what they're really called)

The beach at Dawlish Warren, a nature reserve, home to birds from around the world & rare grasses.

The weather was difficult as the light kept changing all the time & I kept having to switch ISOs all the time. However it was reasonably dry & relatively warm, if a little breezy, so all in all it was a very relaxing weekend - can't wait to go back :D

Great pictures! We have "groins" along our beaches here as well. We spell it differently.

I really like #3. The blue in the fabric is striking, and the way the wind is blowing... they almost look like flags. Very interesting shot.

Yes I was very taken with these chairs. There were loads of them sat round in a circle, being blown about by the wind. I found it quite ironic, as people always hope for good bank holiday weather here & are usually disappointed. I sat patiently waiting for the wind to blow them into interesting patterns & this is the best of the series that I took.
