The Lake District (Northern England)

My first post to these forums, be gentle :

A few pictures from a weekend away up in the Lake District, which i've believed to be amongst the most beautiful coutryside in England (and i'm sure my photos don't truly do it justice)

Stopping down the lens a bit would have made the waterfall a little more blurred (my preference) and, maybe, brought the duck into better focus. The tree branches in the upper-left - a bit distracting.



This one is very nice, very relaxing scene. I can imagine sitting on one shore, eaching a lunch and just day-dreaming.
