post.

Just wanted to thank Dallas for pointing me in the right photographic direction time and again. Big footprints, but I'll try to fill'em :D

The following is what I was able to salvage from almost 4 gigs of pics.:dunno
I guess I'll have to get out and practice some more.
Hmmm! in this case the journey is as much fun as the destination :D

C&C welcome

Now that's a challenge. Most birds fly straight in one direction or the other, but butterflies...ne_nau.gif Well, it's worth a shot. :D
    Thanks Mike

Patient or crazyeek7.gif Most of my time was spent deleting. Fortunately the only thing that's wornout is the DEL button on my keyboard :D

    beautiful.
15524779-Ti.gif Nature offers much that's beautiful, all we have to do is take the time to look. Fortunately for us "nature photographers" we get to look a little closer.

Good work Russ. I have always found butterflies to be a very challenging subject.

"those are some small birds" and boy can they fly. Unlike birds they sure are a challenge to capture in flight.
"How do you get them so sharp?" ne_nau.gif dunno. f8, flash, (shutter) speed, USM, LUCK
    "Awesome shots" Thanks Joel

    Thanks Harry,
I'm really happy to be photographing this subject in the digital era. My "trial and error" approach would've landed me in the poorhouse during the film days.
