    That looks like Santa Monica/Will Rogers beach. Great spot to shoot seagulls and everyone else :D I also still own the first version of that lens but don't get to use it much anymore, focusing is kind of slow for birding. But hopefully the latest version is improved. Anyway, hope to bump into you sometime.
