Thank you to all who voted in this poll and to those who helped make something of my idea.
My wife of 28 years is my inspiration (and not just in creating this photo.) It has been almost 35 years since she and I were alone for the first time in my dad’s car. As in the photo, I may have gotten to 2nd base a few times but a triple was not in the cards and a home-run in her park was way out of my league. That centre field fence may as well have been 400 yards deep and safe at home, just a dream. But I was in paradise.
Meatloaf didn’t get it quite right in his song. I would instead write, “If I couldn’t spend another minute with her, I don’t think that I could really survive.” Because of the negative aspect of his lyrics I would change the title of my entry if I could.
But enough of this; I don’t mean to bore. There is, however; a bit of a funny story in me buying my first bra. I’ll compose it and post it if that is allowed.
I wonder what could be done to commemorate this victory...
Hmmm. :cryShe's been away for a week, I'm picking her up tonight, we're driving home through the mountains, hmmm.
Nah, she'll slap me up-side-the-head so fast I won't know what hit me.:smack
Congrats Glenn... you did a great job on this challenge.... I love how you were able to portray the theme... and it was fun to watch how you tweaked the photo to get your final version... outstanding job! And it sounds like you and your wife are lucky people... to have each other...

Absolutley beautiful and well thought out, fabulous, would love any technicles on the shoot. the top looks like molten gold.
Thanks, The car is actually white and blue but it was such a bright day and with the car at an uphosltery shop being worked on, I could not ask them to move it into the shade (they thought I was little nuts anyway.) I used -1/3 exp. comp. to darken the white. I took the raw image in ps and adjusted the colour temp to get the gold look.
