You called that one right Antonio ... an obvious flash on the two journalists. Also your horizon is tilted.

    Antonio,

I checked your exif and saw that you had the camera in aperture priority mode. Unfortunately, Av mode is better used outdoors for fill flash. Indoors, it does poorly to correctly expose your subjects. If you look at the shutter speed, the camera also chose a very slow 1/40s setting which would blur the subject if it moved.

Next time you shoot indoors with the 20D, try these settings to take full advantage of ettlII with your flash.

    Camera mode - Manual
    Shutter speed - 200
Aperture - choose your depth of field
    ISO - 200 - 400
The flash will provide the correct amount of light to properly expose the image. Even if you add a lightsphere or a flip-it diffuser, the flash will automatically compensate.

    HTH,
    Nikos

    you are absolutely right.
I did wronge. I really intended to use manual.
If I was using aperture priority you told me now...
I thought I was using Manual. That's why it is not very good !
    Thank you for the tip.thumb.gif

May be the horizon was not tilted.
The guards up there were not 90 degrees ...
Or may be you're right ...
I think it is not very relevant in the picture.
    Do you ?

Good ideia: food inside the Lightshere ... With grease ... eggs, bread... bear :):
I do use a Stofen "condom" on the flash like the one the journalist on our left has. He uses Nikon as you can see. The other uses Canon like I do ...

I bought the flash back in September 2005.
Since then I did not care much about it.
BUT, when I read the tread I told you somewhere I began (to begin, began, begun).
I use it all the time. I can't tell you if whiout it it is better or worse.
But (another but) I think - not triyed yet) that whithout it the light does not spread that much.
I usually use it 90 degrees from the horizontal.
I'll be shouting a baptism - is this correct in english ? - next saturday.
I have been to the church and made some shots.
With bouced flash I'll have something like this
