Help me identify this bird

I can't find this bird in my "Birds of Minnesota" book. Anyone know what it is? Thanks in advance.

    Yep..nice looking green heron. Might have cropped the bird a bit of center (taking in account the rule of 3rd or any of the other "rules" of composition". Thanks for sharing your shot and congrats on the find. thumb.gif
