Although work is piling up and don’t allow me much time to be active on the forums for a while, nobody will take away my (partial) free Sunday to snap some shots.

I did make an appointment early today (Sunday) with a park-ranger that could show me some native Indian drawings (first three captures) in our nation park “Arikok”. In short: I was impressed.

Here some pictures, I hope you enjoy them:

thumb.gif Fascinating. Thanks Dick. How old are those drawings? I had no idea such a thing existed on Aruba.

Love the pelican shots and the lizard, well done under difficult light.

They claim to say a couple of thousend year old. Aruba does have a fascinating Idian history and some artifact are found in our local musea. You're very welcome to visit Aruba to enjoy yourself and marvel at the same time.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

What kind of National park has big snakes crawling around, and bats hanging from the ceiling? Ugh.......Beautiful pictures though. Can you ID bird #14. I have seen one similar in out back yard, but I'm sure it's not the same, however it may give me a clue to finding which one he is. Thanks for sharing.

The DOF and comp in #4 does it for me. Looks like some kind of constrictor. Thanks for showing us some new things about Aruba.
