Only had the little digital with me. I'll be back on Wednesday with my zoom which shpould make her and the babies more comfortable. The baby took off as soon as I approached. Thanks for looking

    Cool capture. You want to give nests some distance when viewing. The parents can get very protective. They had to close off part of one of our streets because of a hawk's nest. The parents swooped on a few pedestrians. One lady got a few scratches and had her sunglasses knocked off.

    Wouldn't want to tangle with a ticked off owl (or any bird of prey). Those talons are a tad sharp :uhoh These little owls are cute. I have never seen burrowing owls. Looking forward to seeing the babies if/when you can get pictures of them... safely. :):
