My first time to Yosemite!

Well one of the road trip stops was to Yosemite! Where we climbed the opposite side of Half Dome as the side the cables go up and we climbed a few other routes in the Valley. There were sooooo many people. But I loved the climbing. It was incredible! So of course I took some pictures as well. Enjoy.
Half Dome. Our climbing route went up the right side which is in the picture.
Camp 4 was full when we tried to get a campsite so to spite them we layed our bags down in the meadows under El Cap. As far as I am concerned there was know where else I would rather camp!
Our vehicle broke down in the parking lot actually in Yosemite. It was not a bad place to break down! The garage quoted me a rediculous amount of money to get it fixed so I ended up replacing the fuel pump myself (which I had never done before) in the parking lot at Curry Village. Took me about an hour. So this is John riding his bike near the visitors center under Yosemite Falls.
A picture of Bridalveil Falls in front of the Merced River. A landslide took out the road to Merced and it will be out for a while! So anyone wanting to go make sure to check out for closures.
And of course the shot everyone takes from Tunnel View. I have this shot in color but I figured I would post the black and white one I took instead
This is a picture of Half Dome leaving its reflection in the swamps. It was a long hike !
Well thats it for now. I do of course have tons of pictures so more could always come later.

We had to have the fuel pump ordered from Fresno I think.

I broke down there too a few years ago. My electric (aftermarket drag racing-style) fuel pump quit on me. Luckily, I only live a few hours away and had my father-in-law come up with a trailer and bail me out.
Too bad about highway 140 being closed. That's the route I take. Now I have to add on an extra hour to get to the valley.
