It's always amazing who you can meet on a walk.

Just don't suprise the locals.

Looks like you had a good walk. I'm glad I don't have to deal with bears. I hate dealing with any animal that eats more than I do.

It wasn't easy and I paid a heavy price. I used to be skinny before I started shooting (actually eating with a short photography break thrown in) with Andy. :lol4

Great pics, love the bear. Not sure I'd want to meet up with one in the wild. I have enough problems with poisonous snakes and alligators.

I think the Aligators would freak me out a bit more, I've yet to even see a wild one...

It was a great time Harry, it took us about 7 hours to find the bears but I was finally able to go home happy.

Wait a minute. 7 hours to find the bears? You must not have been hiking rolleyes1.gif . Great captures Ed. I hope I'll get to see a wild bear some day, but until then I'll live vicariously through your images.

    Looking for bear
7 hours to find the bear? We saw one in Sequoia from the car and were able to shoot out the window... but it didn't stay around long.

    Good natural looking shot!

Don't recall ever seeing a marmot before.

    Thanks Dee,

That's just kind of the way my life works, if I go someplace looking for bears to get a shot or two, I end up looking for them all day.

When I'm not looking or don't have a camera ready they seem to be everywhere.
