Great shots, both of them. I love the side view of the entire flower. Nicely done, and original compositions. I could have sworn that first shot was a succulent of some kind!!!

Red Bull, I was using Canon's 100mm macro lens.

What surprised me about this plant was how hard it is, The top of it looks soft, but it is pretty dang hard....lol

I loved the shot too. You are right about it making you feel trippy. I had to look away or lose it on my keyboard.
