I love the composition of this shot. Everything draws me to the guy with the cell phone. I am less certain about the low saturation. While it works well with the gray stone and the doors, it makes the guy look like a bit of a ghost. Perhaps a bit more color?

Saludos,
that the composition is very effective and pleasing. I love the photo.
With respect to the stauration, maybe work this up in layers, leaving the guy normally saturated? This would border on selective colorization without going all the way. FX might be pretty cool.
It's curious. You made comments about the composition and Resinmadrid even wrote "Everything draws me to the guy with the cell phone". As a matter of fact it was composed with the rule of thirds and he is at a crucial point.
I do like you criticize because it makes me to improve.
But - these dam buts - my computer is rather slow and I do not keep the PSD files.
To re-make a photo I have to begin all over...
And sometimes I'm lazy about such a task...
BUT I am going to have a new computer.
And which computer is it ?
The great, the magnificent, the fantastic Apple 19 feet screen model I don't know - my son does - with lots of RAM !!!
Then... be aware of me.
I'll post a picture with the machine when it comes.
Don't you notice the balconny is not in focus ?
I think it is because I twisted the pic ... to correct the perspective
Regards and thank you for the comments. thumb
Can you see that the balconie is not sharp ?
It's not my fault. It's the dam lens !...
Expensive and look at this !!!! It is not the 1.st time I notice this sheat.
OK, I looked. The only thing that jumped out at me was the resolution of the original was 4026px x 6196px. That's more than a 20D produces, so I wonder if perhaps you are upsizing in post?? That's generally a bad idea, as it can lead to fuzzy baclonies. :

Assuming you were right - what probably is true - and the other pictures why this doesn't happen ?
Soon I'll post another vertical treated and I think, nice.
Anyway, thank you for the trouble.

Look at this one strait from RAW also.
There is nothing wroge with it ...
This one is vertical and it is OK ...
I agree that the balcony looks fuzzy. Perhaps if you post the EXIF data someone here might suggest a reason.
Please look for the EXIF here http://antoniocorreia.smugmug.com/gallery/967308/1/73985112
Thank you but I doubt that throught the EXIF anyone can find something..
And the EXIF is so poor in SmugMug ...

You know what I mean ...
See ? No bad areas out of focus ...
