Alot of funny (strange?) thoughts came to mind when I viewed this (and stopped laughing). My first thought "Geeeze! he looks like road-kill!" Then I thought "how low can you go?" I hoped there were no cars coming behind him......hoped also the pavement wasn't too hot. Anyway, it gave me a chuckle and it just proves what lengths great photographers will go to in order to 'get the shot'. By the way, this is also a great shot!!! thumb.gif

Thats fantastic....I know what lengths Mic will go to for the shot - heck if my thighs weren't so sore from hiking, I woulda gotten more good shots too! In any case, remember the words of Dave Porter "Road shots sell".

    Cheers

And I thought I was the only one that had mounted the camera upside down to get low to the ground. It's really wierd looking through the viewfinder in that position. Hopefully the shot worked out for you Mich.

Just shows that we should all carry a portable pyramid to place over roadkill. And people recon they were just a 70's fad !!

From a learner's perspective, I would appreciate even a rough version, just to see/learn what it was you were shooting and how the very low perspective might have differed from a more "normal" perspective.

I've just been to a festival and I'm afraid I don't have access to my piccies right now (they're stored on another computer) but I think over the week I can post the result of that shot here!

Cool shot....is there a pic of what Michael got in that shot? I'd love to see the low angle.
