I actually shot this fellow through a sheet of clear plexiglass, which of course limited the angle and probably contributed to the glare, but it didn't turn out too badly... Pretty kitty, eh?
You did pretty well considering the shooting conditions. I have shot through zoo plexiglass before and I know too well how difficult it is.

I think jaguars are one of the prettiest large cats. You did a good job. Zoos are often hard to shoot in. To get rid of the glare you can play with the contrast, sometimes it can help.
This was also shot through plexiglass....maybe the same zoo?
Lovely shot, Dave. Yours turned out better than mine. :
Same zoo, though, I doubt. My shot was taken at La Venta park in Villahermosa, Mexico. I'm pretty sure there were no bears there. This poor fellow would not have enjoyed the weather one bit.

Generally I wil put the lens hood right against the glass and shoot to eliminate glare and reflections.
