Just got a message from google alerts for having found my name on this smugmug site. It's called "Amazon web services" and uses some kind of amazon.com like logo.
Aparently the owner took a picture of mine and put it in his Europe travel gallery with a copyright watermark containing my name added to the picture and put my name in the caption. At least I got credited...other pictures on the site look familiar, too and they didn't have any credits:
- Andy's Grand Central Terminal shot
- Lightning over Brisbane from gus I think

I think there's more, but I guess you'll be best of reporting your own shots yourself here. I'll leave the guy a comment on my picture with a link to here in order to give him a chance to explain himself. Going to be tough though. :D

    "The guy" = me.

I did a demo for all Amazon employees a few weeks ago and we created that account for it. :)

Haha, okay then you can delete my comment! :D
I like the way google informs me about such demos and other stuff involving my name. thumb.gif

Now I'm curious: Is Amazon planing on outsourcing all their product images to smugmug or what? headscratch.gif

I can't grasp the notion of time.

When I hear the earth will melt into the sun,
    in two billion years,
    all I can think is:
"Will that be on a Monday?"

1 - where does google analytics tell you all that
2 - i hope all photos dont get outsourced to smugmug. Too much traffic going to smugmug as it is.

1 - I'm guessing it's a Google Alert, something a lot of us here use.

1 - Right - I set one up for my name and get a mail everytime it pops up somewhere.
2 - Having patience is not an easy thing, but I guess I'll manage it.

Thanks for the teasing - it's way better than having no answear!
