Correct??
I wouild imagine that it means something like that, but it certainly works fine and is still being sold. I just bought it about 10 days ago. It's not like flash cards go sour sitting on a shelf .
My guess is that the manufacturer has just shifted production over to a new or different-capacity model ... that production line may now be dedicated to 80x 2GB cards, or 60x 8GB cards, or ___? Regardless the production line's status, this is a brand new CF card in perfect condition, ready to use, and currently being sold.
