Minty condition IS version of this truly stunning lens, bought by the other half in december 2005 when i only wanted the non IS version, only used 4 times so is simply stunning except for the odd scuff mark on the hood.

Comes complete with hood, end caps, tripod collar, instruction manual and case, box is missing.

Date code is UT so was made in July 2005, less than a year old.

asking £1,100 including insured shipping

will trade for an as like non IS version plus cash.

At this moment in time a trade for the non IS version is more important to me right now, i will listen to trades for lenses which are up to 5 years old, however they must be in top condition and very very sharp.

Payment by paypal to confirmed address only, cheque or direct bank transfer to my Halifax account, would prefer cheque or bank transfer to save on the silly paypal fees, i will cover insured postage.

feedback on fredmiranda as Gary Coyle and 100% on ebay as gazcoyle

LENS IS CURRENTLY ALSO UP FOR AUCTION ON EBAY BUT WILL PULL IT IF I CAN MAKE A DEAL OR TRADE HERE OR ON FM FIRST

I could be interested as you are in Europe.
Why don't you want the lens with IS ?
It is supposed to be a good thing to work with...
Is the IS working fine ?
You are asking too much for it.
    1.600 € . New it costs 2.000 € in pixmania ...

All the best ! ... António Correia - Facebook

Very, very tempting, but I've just done the conversion to Aussie $$$ and can buy a brand new one cheaper from a company in Sydney and cheaper again from B&H Photo (including shipping). :cry

The IS works fine as it should do having only been out of the bag 4 times, if a new one costs 2000 euro i think 1600 euro is a great price for a like new one less than a year old.

No, ive never had a single problem with it, please bear in mind its only ever been used 4 times so isnt likely to have had any problems.
