    thumb.gifthumb.gif Awesome. What 500mm lens were you using to be able to get such sharp handheld shots? I can barely hold my 70-200 staedy enough to get shots this sharp.

    The lens is a cheap (relatively) sigma 170-500mm Zoom. It's kind of slow so you need good strong lighting.

    The window was a "window on wildlife" at a local park... and it was far from clean, but as long as the glass does not have lines of distortion in it, you are close to the glass and far from the subject so it's a lot like focusing through a fence. It is usually possible to get sharp images without showing the dirt on the glass.
