My first thought of "Lamina" is from my physiology textbook... Lamina Propria, or the layer of connective tissue between various other layers in muscle and organs. With that in mind, I went for the tastiest lamina I could think of: Bacon!

My very first post at DGrin.
Taken on June 23 with my just-arrived Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens. It was a little bit windy that morning, so I had to bump up the ISO.
