Okay guys I am new to digital cameras and to these forums. I have had my Olymous E-500 for 4 months now and been on smug mug for about a month. I would like to get a little feed back from some of you more experienced photographers.

    Welcome!

You would probably get better comments if you placed one or two photos into a post. In addition, a couple of these might do better in the "Field & Street" forum.

    Improvements:
    • Post larger versions - makes is easier to see the detail!
    OK, I like:
    • The flower is well exposed, the colors are bright and the image is well composed.
    • The dragonfly - nice use of DOF. The image is too small to see the dtail though and that would have been nice.
    • The sunset on the water, this is nice. Really like the sun's reflection on the water.
Thanks for sharing and looking forward to more!

Welcome to Dgrin and thanks for sharing your pics with us. If you want to get a critique of a shot its easier if you post less pictures and as Scott said at a larger side. Also the first two shots are great for this forum and the rest would go bette rin the Field and Street forum where landscape shots should go. You can also gte some excellent critiques of a single shot in the Whipping Post forum.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
