Today I noticed some wrens in my yard looking a bit like they wre nest building:D. They didn't let me ge close for long, and a looming Butcherbird had them wary, but here's the 2 I got that I liked.

And I liked the light so I tried to go a little arty...

So cute! They look like little stuffed toys! I don't know if we have wrens...could be wrong. Great shots and I like your "artsy" attempt as well. :D

Great catch RM...they sit just enough for you to lift the lens & find them & as you go to hit the shutter....they take off like a rocket !!

Lot of butcher birds around here also...i recon people are feeding them as they get very cheeky if i leave the balcony door open.

Yeah they are quick little things. We used to get Willy Wag Tails hanging around alot but haven't seen any in awhile. The butcher birds scare away the parrots as well.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Harry, I'm still trying to find a proper ID. I haven't seen this guy before.
