Cardinal Landing

I took this using a Fuji 5000, was overcast, so couldn't freeze the male. Was kinda noisy, so cleaned it up using PSP9. It looks soft and muddy. But I like it.

    On my camera red tends to overexpose so I usually adjust one stop faster a shutter speed than my meter says. I looked at a histogram for your shot and it has a gap on the left indicating to me that its overexposed.

    This also mean you would have had one stop faster to reduce the motion blur a little. Might have made his face sharp and still had some motion in his wings.

    It would also make the colors pop a bit.

    Just some suggestions.
