Been up in the Dales today...

to give the photographs of the gypsie kids to the respective moms. Sadly enough it rained today so most of the travellers were packing up...
I had time enough to take the long road home... From Reeth to Muker, split of to Askrigg, with the view: magical buttercups giving a yellow shine!

For those of you interested in the Horse Fair, here is a slideshow...
(mind you, it is a lot of pics, might be boring after a while). Have to cut them down, hard to choose though!

    Great subject PC thumb.gif I dont know why you guys dont photograph this stuff more often. You have such an old history...ours is 10 minutes old.

    grin, I would say 20 minutes... I agree, we have everything here that is needed. Beautiful buildings, nice landscapes. You don't hear me complain about jolly good England... The Dales are extremely nice! Will post some more later on, after the processing.

    Very green :D I keep wanting to see more. When I was little my parents would threaten to give me away to the Gypises How would you find the real parents to give the photos to. ne_nau.gif

    Such beautiful countryside!!! The shades of green are marvelous. I love those rambling, stone walls. I agree, you're very lucky to have all that history surrounding you!
