Hi all....
I recently got my new Sigma lens 24-70 f/2.8 .......now this is my very first purchased lens.......:clap

now I am looking to upgrade my flash.....I have a used canon 420 ex (that's all I could afford at the time :)

now I am looking at the Sigma 500.......please tell me if that is a good choice or should I go for a canon flash?

I take predominately children portraits and a lot of outside photos....I still use the flash for outside, natural light with my LSII.

Thanks for your help.
Heather

The Sigma Super ST-500 is a fine flash.

However, now that you've got a new lens, go use it! Worry about buying new crap later!
