I love going down to Chinatown to photograph the various markets....I am just getting the nerve to ask people to pose.

the top looks like squished squid-

hey! ask, dammit! all they can do is say no! (I hope)-

yeah, I know the feeling; there's an art to it-

I do really well when I start bs'n about their kids or their dogs or the food caught inbetween their teeth; then they open up to me and say, 'oh, yes! we'd love for you to take our picture! better for me to poop on you!!'-

oh well, good luck-
