This is the last of the many I took that day. All are with the 400 5.6 L, ISO 200, most around f/8.0. The AV was changed as needed for exposure.

Great shots as usual Khaos, sharp and well exposed. I like the flip in the third pic. What shutter speed do you try to stay at? I have noticed I've usually been at ISO 400 to keep my shutter speed around 1/1000 with the 400 f/5.6. I could go lower than that but then sometimes quick movement gets blurred when I don't want it to.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

For these where I was trying to catch the fishing, I was around 800 - 1000. I had bright early evening sun at my back which made it ideal. Other times around 500 to 640 is my goal.

These are outstanding!!! Dead-on exposures and what detail! I think you had a particularly beautiful specimen as well. Love the head shot with the long neck...I like the way the background foliage mimics his extraordinarily long neck. Unusual capture!!! thumb.gif
