Love that lorikeet. Did you use a flash for fill?

I love the birds. After bird sitting a cockateel for 2 months, I have a new appreciation for them.

I like how they stand out from the background.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Khaos, yes used 580 ex flash, mounted off camera, flash triggered by STE2 speedlite transmitter.

Thanks also Russ, Kevin, Dick, Harry, and Malte.

Thanks docwalker, we do not have Cockatiel around here unfortunately, tho I did have a pet one when I lived in the dry dusty Outback.

Thanks Dallas, yes I am blessed to have quite a good variety of birds nearby, tho its not really a good location to do BIF.
