havent had a chance to go shoot much so on a whim took some corn out of the kitchen and shot it. i needed about 5 more ears to get a very cool effect with many layers of the skins on different levels, but is this ok for starters?

I have to respectfully disagree with my friends above. That 1st shot is KILLER!!!!!!

hopefully this weekend i find somethin a bit more inspiring to shoot besides produce lol
purified, i have a canon 30d and for these shots i used the 70-300IS and shot in RAW, processed with ACR. just learnin raw now and i will not go back to jpeg unless shootin sports. i probably should have gotten my lil el cheapo 50 f1.8 which is so damn sharp when you have enough good light to focus, but i was too lazy to find it
every shot in my gallery is with a 30d, the above lenses plus a 17-85IS & a sigma 10-20ex. my first dslr and i love it. though i would have gotten a 5d if i had the money for sure.
