    Great set Brian. How is the MP-E 65 treating you? Are you still shooting with your Sigma and other homeade contraptions? I think the hoverflys are my favorite little critters, they are very sleak and a joy to watch.

    leseinne- I was using my MPE-65 lens for these but you could get similar magnification with a 1:1 macro lens and a set of extension tubes.

    Gluwater- the MPE-65 is great, takes wonderful pics, only downsides being the weight of it plus the fact that esp at higher magnifications it shows sensor dirt you never knew you had :) I still use the 105mm though, because for many bugs (butterflies, bees, damsel flies dragon flies etc) the minimum 1:1 magnification is too much although it's great for doing head closeups :)
