Allowing others to upload photos?

Hi all,

Just wondering if there's an easy way to let friends upload pictures to my site, but only in a specific gallery not the others...

Allowed? Possible?

Thanks in advance,
Jesse

    Hi Andy,

Thanks for the response. I did see the guest password option, but won't that allow guest to edit any gallery on my site? Ideally I'd like one gallery where friends can upload photos, but not have access to my main galleries.. I know my friends, and if I gave them access to the whole site, it would be chaos ;) The email option doesn't really work, because of file size restrictions, etc...

    Thanks again,
    Jesse

Ditto here. I'd like to setup a gallery for my brothers and sisters to upload our family photos. Anyone know how the "guest password" works? I have one set but cannot see where to use it.

    Thanks.

Why don't you try it :) log out, and log in with the guest password. Then you'll know exactly how it looks

I just tried it. I think that a "guest" password shouldn't use my email address. It would be nice if the help pages said to use "your current account email address and use the guest password", so something to that effect. It would have saved me a lot of guessing.

Thanks Andy. As always your the best!

They can use nickname in lieu of email address :)

Andy, can you tell me where do I setup the nickname? Or is "jchin" in "jchin.smugmug.com" my nickname?
