not sure how well it fits the lamina theme..

    One way to think about Lamina is Layers. I'm not seeing layers (though
    it is a cool picture).

    Thanks, I thought you maybe could see the cooling fins as lamina (layers), but I guess it's too far-fetched..
    Oh well, I'll see if I can find anything else that fits the subject better. :):

    definitely a very cool shot.

    nice DOF and colours. i dunno i think it might just be lamina. technological lamina.

    I agree... looks like layers to me... and I think Technical Lamina is a great title..

    did you run this through a noise reduction software?

    if not you should, i can see some chroma noise. it may add to the picture but give it a look without the noise.

    noiseware community edition is free and works well.

    Thanks, "technical lamina" is a great title if I decide to use those pics. I have Noise Ninja so I might try to get rid of some noise. 1drink.gif

    edit: I gave it a try on the second pic, also made the colors a tad stronger:
