natural light portraits

These are my 2 boys, let me know what you think,

    1) good looking boys-

    2) nice bw conversions-I personally would want a little more 'pop'-

    3) a little soft in the face and eyes, particularly the older one-

    4) do not care for the frilly stuff around the older one and the fact he has his shirt off- maybe if he was outside playing ball-

    5) think about the rule of thirds-

    6) think about vignetting-

    a lot or all of this is personal taste and if you get enough response you might get some kind of consensus of what is expected/liked/etc.-

    then again, you might not care for any response you get, which is all our perogative, but then why would you post-

    anyway, I listed a lot but overall I think they're pretty good pics-

    Thanx, I agree about being soft in the face, wasn't totally happy with the finished result! was going for a soft focus....
