I've read "Understand Exposure". I still read it over and over. As a rookie, I found it extremely helpful. I really enjoy the way he breaks it down into small bites and presents "before" and "after" images for comparison of techniques. He also presents "homework exercises" in the book for some good old hands on learning.

I'll have to pick this one up now.
